Experiencing an Emergency?

While Gates County Animal Clinic primarily focuses on your pet’s ongoing health needs, we do our best to accommodate same-day urgent care visits, as well as emergencies when we can. Please give us a call with your emergency concern, and we’ll do our best to get you and your pet taken care of.

Based on the level of concern for your pet, this may look like a set time on our schedule, a time-window for us to try to have them seen between scheduled appointments, or a drop off appointment where we’ll have your pet stay with us while we work them in between appointments. With an additional work-in cost of $65 dollars, these options allow us to have time to care for your pet’s health concerns, while giving you updates by phone or text as we go along.

If we’re unable to accept any urgent care matters or emergencies, we may be able to triage your pet’s condition and let you know if emergency transfer is recommended. We can also gather records from your emergency visit and provide follow-up care.
